This is mainly because she discusses the science of stress positively instead of sprouting its usual negative side effects. And also it means I get to see my friends more and my heart will be healthier because of it! She talks about an important stress hormone that has a very cute nickname; how when it’s triggered, reminds us to connect to other humans by seeking support and guidance. It also helps in relaxing our muscles and encouraging the cells in our hearts to regenerate. A stress hormone that triggers us to relieves stress? Weirdly brilliant. Now go hug a friend.
